The Client Service Associate I is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to internal clients by assisting with the Branch's overall workflow processes. This role reports directly into either the Client Service Director or the Client Service Supervisor. The Client Service Associate I contributes to key business outcomes such as client retention, internal client satisfaction, enhancing AJG's value to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and fostering a culture of performance and continuous improvement.

How You'll Make An Impact

Executes business needs that require attention and clerical/administrative work:

  • Assists with the Branch's overall workflow processes
  • Creates documents, using appropriate systems and resources, which may include Surety Wave, Excel spreadsheets for line cards, bid bonds and final bonds, etc.
  • Set-up and maintain thorough bond and financial records in the electronic document management system (DMS)
  • Learn the accounting system EPIC, processing of new business, renewals and accounting issues
  • Researches and resolves routine issues
  • Produces confidential reports for special projects
  • Escalates issues to Client Service Managers, Account Executives and/or Surety Manager
  • Interfaces with carriers as necessary and appropriate

About You

High school diploma/equivalent plus 1+ year directly applicable experience. Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Exceptional administrative skills. Basic math skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
