Your missions:
As an Engineering Project Manager / Chief Project Engineer, you are responsible for the delivery of studies and the design of an entire installation, in accordance with the company's HSE policies, contractual commitments, construction needs, schedule, and budget.
Your main responsibilities cover all engineering activities for medium to large projects:
- Represent the company with clients, partners, subcontractors, suppliers, and third parties on technical subjects, and may contribute to commercial development initiatives
- Ensure the technical execution of the project within the stipulated time and budget
- Define the engineering execution plan for the project and ensure timely approval of engineering deliverables by the client, as well as the technical and economic definition of amendments and/or claims.
- Elaborate the planning, actively monitor its execution, and propose corrective actions if necessary.
- Ensure internal and external reporting of engineering activities
- Contribute to the estimation of engineering hours for tenders and validate optimized technical/economic solutions proposed by engineering disciplines if necessary.
- Ensure coordination between engineering disciplines and with procurement, construction, suppliers, licensors, and partners.
- Ensure the revision/issuance of internal and subcontracting documents.
- Coordinate the process of obtaining approvals from local authorities to validate engineering documents.
- Critically examine the interfaces between disciplines and/or project stakeholders.
- Address technical, economic, and scheduling aspects related to project amendments.
Qualifications
Your strengths:
You are the ideal candidate if you have a general engineering degree (ARTS ET METIERS, CENTRALE, ENSAM, ENSIC, INSAβ¦) or equivalent. Your minimum 10 years of experience in engineering project management or EPC project size up to 50,000 hours in engineering in the petrochemical, refining, pharmaceutical, or other process industries, in a similar function, will allow you to perform quickly.
You have mastery of cutting-edge technologies and the ability to anticipate technical/planning issues.
Fluency in English is indispensable, minimum required level, and good mastery of project management tools.
You are a rigorous, methodical person with a good analytical and synthesis capacity. You like teamwork and easily integrate into a group.
The application of ISO 9001 and MASE Quality procedures is your daily routine. Ensuring safety on sites and/or at our clients is one of your priorities.
