Introduction: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Redmond, WA. As a key member of the Product Design Engineering team, you will lead the development of cutting-edge technologies and manufacturing processes for our Smart Glasses and Augmented Reality products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product design and development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components for Smart Glasses and Augmented Reality products
- Collaborate with software engineers, hardware designers, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical components into the overall product design
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototyping to validate design concepts
- Manage the manufacturing process, including tooling, assembly, and quality control
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in mechanical design and development, preferably in the technology or consumer electronics industry
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
