Zscaler Engineer – L2

Experience:

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with advanced Zscaler configurations

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in GRE and IPsec tunnel management, including troubleshooting latency and tunnel failures
• Proficiency with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) policies and advanced access control rules
• Experience implementing deception technology using Zscaler for threat hunting and malware containment
• Hands-on experience with traffic forwarding policies and SSL inspection configurations
• Intermediate knowledge of cloud firewall capabilities, including Layer 7 traffic analysis and threat intelligence feeds
• Strong understanding of user and role-based access management integrated with ZPA and Identity Providers (IdPs)
• Experience integrating SIEM platforms by forwarding logs from ZIA/ZPA to Splunk or Azure Sentinel for monitoring and incident response

Certifications:

• Preferred: Zscaler Certified Cloud Expert (ZCCE) or equivalent
• Additional recommended certifications: Cisco CCNP Security, ECSA, or CEH

Work Model:

• Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with advanced Zscaler configurations

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in GRE and IPsec tunnel management, including troubleshooting latency and tunnel failures
• Proficiency with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) policies and advanced access control rules
• Experience implementing deception technology using Zscaler for threat hunting and malware containment
• Hands-on experience with traffic forwarding policies and SSL inspection configurations
• Advanced knowledge of cloud firewall capabilities, including Layer 7 traffic analysis and threat intelligence feeds
• Strong understanding of user and role-based access management integrated with ZPA and Identity Providers (IdPs)
• SIEM integration expertise, forwarding logs from ZIA/ZPA to Splunk or Azure Sentinel for monitoring and incident response
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and evaluate security architecture
• Strong communication skills with the ability to:
• Clearly convey technical concepts to executives
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Present security findings and reports

Certifications:

• Preferred: Zscaler Certified Cloud Expert (ZCCE) or equivalent
• Additional recommended certifications: Cisco CCNP Security, ECSA, or CEH
