Senior Test Engineer
The Senior Test Engineer will work with ODM to deliver test process readiness from NPI to mass production on products including WiFi/LTE wireless camera, audio and sensors. The successful candidate must have proven experience in high volume consumer manufacturing.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support all production lines to sustain target yield and continue to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Drive production and OOBA failure analysis and implement correction actions to ensure shipment on time.
- Drive test yield improvement, test limit optimization, test item reduction and test line balancing to minimize cost and improve test capacity.
- Audit test process compliance including documentation, operator training, equipment/setup calibration, maintenance.
- Ensure test process readiness for all phases of NPI including schedule, test coverage, test equipment, test firmware and software, setup, documentation, validation, data and bottleneck analysis and capacity.
- Ensure the right test strategy for OOBA.
- Ensure sufficient production test capacity to support shipment requirements at launch and MP ramp-up.
- Support development for RMA test solutions.
- Support RMA failure analysis.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of direct experience working in factory environment, high volume consumer electronics including wireless, camera, audio, video and sensors.
- Bachelor/Master in Electrical Engineering or similar fields.
- Understand schematics and block diagram.
- Strong in analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Fast learner.
- Fluent in English speaking and written communication is a must. Chinese Mandarin is a plus.
- Work location – Bac Ninh, Vietnam.
