Your responsibilities will include:

  • Electrically/mechanically troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial food equipment.
  • Working with minimal direct supervision at customer sites.
  • Meeting or surpassing weekly productivity and customer-oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should bring:

  • An accredited high school diploma or GED and 4-6 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to drive multiple hours daily.
  • The ability to work overtime and on-call as required.
  • The ability to attend industry-leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH.

Physical demands and work environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may:

  • Lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
  • Climb up to 10 ft with an A-frame ladder.
  • Occasionally access roofs through extension ladders or fixed ladders greater than 20 feet.
  • Extensively walk 3-5 miles/day and drive 5-6 hours/day.
  • Kneel, squat, bend, push/pull and move in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
  • Operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment and machinery/power tools.

Working conditions:

You will work in office facilities and customer facilities including commercial kitchens of various types of businesses. Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet, and dirty conditions may occur. Travel requirement up to 50% of the time. Hours of work include normal business hours with occasional/frequent/extended hours as needed. Flexibility with schedule to meet critical deadlines. Extended hours may include nights and/or weekends. Normal scheduled hours cover early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
