About the Team Our End-to-End Finance team operates as a strategic partner, integrating priorities across business units to deliver actionable insights and drive results. We collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring financial strategies align with operational goals. In this role, you'll be a catalyst for innovation, helping the team deliver on Walmart's mission to save people money so they can live better.

What you'll do...

  • Partner with End-to-End strategy and finance teams to integrate current and future priorities into operational and financial strategies, identifying milestones and deliverables.
  • Drive proactive, ad-hoc analysis ('what ifs') on emerging topics, surfacing risks and opportunities not otherwise captured in structured planning cycles.
  • Translate operational and financial data into clear insights for senior leadership—highlighting risks, opportunities, and drivers of performance.
  • Track milestones and support project management to ensure deliverables are met, connecting the dots across End-to-End teams.
  • Support the development of board and executive-level financial narratives that connect insights to strategy in a consistent and compelling way.
  • Provide input to the financial planning process by preparing financial analysis and modeling, recommending future expense targets, and analyzing business performance in partnership with cross-functional areas.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience thriving in ambiguous environments and bringing clarity to complex financial/operational questions.
  • Ability to translate numbers into compelling stories for non-financial leaders.
  • Curiosity and a drive to spot opportunities for simplification, automation, and new insights.
  • Skill in identifying blind spots and proactively addressing unasked leadership questions.
  • Comfort influencing cross-functional partners and holding teams accountable for commitments.
  • Experience building frameworks that drive consistency across business units.
  • Proficiency in AI, SQL, PowerBI or similar tools.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications...

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects. 1 year's supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications...

  • Analyzing data and interpreting results, Microsoft Office, Working in a large, complex, matrixed organization Masters: Business Administration
