Senior Automation Engineer

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a senior automation engineer who could join our team of professionals in a permanent role. Work model: We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Responsibilities:

• Working on Emerson Delta V systems to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain solutions.
• Providing guidance and support to team members to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
• Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation for transparency and accountability.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve project outcomes.
• Fostering a collaborative work environment to encourage innovation and continuous improvement.
• Evaluating project performance and implementing lessons learned for future initiatives.
• Driving cost-effective solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Possess a strong technical background in Emerson Delta V systems.
• Demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
• Have a solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in managing cross-functional teams in a hybrid work model.
• Display strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Salary and other compensation: Applications will be accepted until Oct 30, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 K - $120,000 K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
