This position will report to the Fort Smith office, but working out of the Northwest Arkansas - Fayetteville & Springdale areas. We are looking for a Sales Representative to sell fire protection products and services. The ideal candidate will develop new customers through cold calls, networking, personal visits, and other sales strategies. They will also maintain and grow accounts with existing customers, write sales reports, and track sales through our information systems.
Responsibilities include meeting sales quotas, managing time for maximum sales calls, following up on leads, participating in networking events, and performing other tasks assigned by the Director of Sales.
Requirements include fire protection or fire alarm sales experience, commercial sales experience, knowledge of our products and services, organizational capacity, competency with Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication skills, adherence to safety guidelines, and a strong work ethic. The most desirable candidates will have at least 2 years of higher education experience or comparable industry experience, experience with sales force automation technologies, experience in design or project management, and experience with project budgeting.
