As a Manager, Walmart Services - Project Manager - Omni Value Add-On Services, Protection Services, you'll help grow and deliver new capabilities and product strategies for the Protection Services Team, including, but not limited to the following programs: Walmart Protection Plans, AppleCare experience online channel.

Some things you'll do on a typical day:

  • Project manage the day-to-day details associated with the expansion of protection services; work collaboratively with the business leads of each of these programs to execute against program/installation goals.
  • Develop and implement program/project plans to meet sales, income, and unit volume forecasts across all applicable services, channels and distribution points for the businesses that you lead.
  • Execute existing service, channel, or account activities across distribution points for Omni Value Add-On Services by managing the look, feel, positioning, and distribution of the services you manage; leverage data and analytics to gather, understand, and report on performance to identify key insights to enhance the growth of the business; support ongoing relationships and activities with suppliers and partners to execute sales and marketing programs.
  • Support the development of business plans for new Omni Value Add-On Services offerings or innovations by collaborating with senior team members to analyze new sales opportunities and partnerships for growth to the business; research and identify ideas for innovation, line extensions, and improved user experience; assist in the evaluation of potential innovations for development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (for example Operations, Item File Compliance, Walmart Labs, Product, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, etc.) to execute implementation and timelines; support analytic reporting activities; implement corrective actions to prevent negative business impacts.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers, lead Supplier relationships.
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identify business needs; determine and carry out necessary processes and practices; monitor progress and results; recognize and capitalize on improvement opportunities; adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
  • Support our stores/associates with a sense of urgency when following up on requests, matters of concern; follow the Sundown Rule.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Utilize databases for data storage/management.
  • Periodically travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or worksites; sometimes requiring consecutive overnight stays.

What would support your success:

  • Extensive Project Management experience
  • Supplier relationship experience
  • Walmart Merchandising/Modular experience
  • P&L Management experience; Budgeting/business planning experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Looker, Big Query, Scintilla, iSam, Power BI
  • Experience in coordinating legal agreements/contracts, licensing, compliance-related matters
  • Self-starter; high attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree OR 2 years' experience in project management, merchandising, financial planning, operations, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in entrepreneurial or cross-functional environment, business development, project management, merch ops, or related area.
  • 1 year's experience negotiating with third-party suppliers.
  • 4 year's experience with Microsoft Office; proficient in Excel; proficient in PowerPoint.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $76,000.00-$114,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  • Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
  • Stock
