We are looking for a motivated Sales Strategy Manager to join the Data Ventures Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will provide advanced reporting and insights that impact revenue generation and ensure commercial team strategy and decision making are data-driven and in alignment with Data Ventures' overarching growth goals. This exciting opportunity will work across the entire customer lifecycle including new business, account management, and renewal functions. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Sales Strategy & Enablement.
You'll sweep us off our feet if you bring a BA/BS degree required; MBA or similar quantitative graduate degree preferred. Minimum seven years of experience in a highly analytical role in sales strategy, consulting, merchandising, CPG, business analytics, FP&A, or revenue operations. Strong experience with sales analytics, retail analytics, and/or revenue modeling. Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations that tie to strategic priorities. Fluency in SQL and Excel and comfort in Google Big Query with the ability to discuss data strategy, architecture, and tradeoffs. Knowledge of Walmart's business model, its supplier ecosystem, and retail data marketplace dynamics. Comfort operating in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. Strong project management skills and the ability to independently manage projects from start to finish. A growth mindset and resiliency.
You'll make an impact by building and maintaining sales models that support revenue planning and scenario analysis using historical pipeline data, CRM change logs, activity data, and other proprietary datasets. Developing segmentation frameworks and supplier analytics that enable prioritization and tailored engagement. Collaborating with technical partners including the Data Foundations and Data Science teams to establish a foundation for predictive analytics and then building and implementing a "signals to action" approach to enable proactive sales motions. Creating data visualizations and compelling business narratives that create alignment and influence sales strategy development. Supporting management of the annual quota-setting process. Executing ad-hoc analyses and developing actionable recommendations to solve complex business issues.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
Minimum qualifications: Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, digital media/advertising, or related area and 2 years' experience in campaign management, business development, market development, or related area. Option 2: 4 years' experience in campaign management, business development, market development, or related area.
Preferred qualifications: 3 years' experience in account management, 3 years' experience in customer-facing role, 3 years' experience in digital media, Master's degree in business, marketing, communication, digital media/advertising or related area and 1 year's experience in campaign management, business development, market development, or related area.
