Location Description: Post Consumer Brands in Jonesboro, Ark. is home to more than 200 team members. Jonesboro may be a smaller town, but it has a strong performing arts scene, multiple schools, and a diverse geography with sports and outdoor recreation opportunities for everyone. The Post Jonesboro team supports the community through food pantry volunteering and an annual toy drive during the holiday season.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for driving organizational change through focused improvement initiatives aligned with key performance indicators, including safety, quality, schedule adherence, cost, growth, and employee engagement. This role requires strong proficiency in Lean, DMAIC, FMEA, SEMD, RCA, and Kaizen methodologies, along with the ability to coach, train, and mentor others in PCB's Continuous Improvement framework. Success will be measured by the ability to lead project-based activities and strategic steering teams that deliver measurable, sustainable results.
Work Location: Onsite at the Jonesboro Manufacturing Facility.
Education: 4-year degree preferably in Engineering, Business, or Science.
Experience: 3-7 years combined related work experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with continuous improvement/Lean Six Sigma/TPM efforts preferred.
Desired Skills: Strong commitment to safety with the ability to create and maintain a safe work environment. Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies, with the ability to model and apply them effectively. Proven analytical skills, sound business judgment, and expertise in problem-solving and troubleshooting. Ability to influence, mentor, and coach others to deliver results. Results-driven mindset with a strong bias for action, supporting both cost reduction and company growth strategies. Optimistic, purposeful communicator who inspires teams, fosters morale, and motivates others toward ambitious goals. Skilled in solving complex problems, prioritizing actions, and identifying effective solutions quickly. Strong organizational and project management skills; able to lead cross-functional teams, build consensus, and negotiate effectively. Expertise in visual management to drive clarity and accountability.
