The Social Services Assistant provides supportive services to social workers, case managers, and clients. This role assists with administrative tasks, outreach efforts, and client referrals to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Primary responsibilities include assisting in client intake and service referrals, providing basic counseling and resource navigation, maintaining accurate records and case documentation, and supporting community outreach and public education initiatives. Coordination of scheduling and follow-ups for client services is also part of the role.
The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and administrative abilities, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Minimum qualifications include at least six months of social work experience and required background checks.
