Job Description
The Team: We are a team of data engineers/technical program managers who provide decision support for the OCI Product Management organization. We build data pipelines to improve capacity utilization, create dashboards that executives depend upon daily, and dig into Oracle-wide datasets to identify new feature and revenue opportunities for OCI. As we grow we are looking for leadership in maturing and enhancing existing data pipelines while also building net new ones.
Technical Owner: Own areas of the business for building custom analysis and dashboards to drive our stakeholders to action. Some projects could enhancing resiliency for executive reporting so they never fly blind, optimizing cloud fleet usage, or consolidating our understanding of the business across multiple organization, dataset, and system lines. You'll need to be comfortable swimming in SQL while surfacing to explain clearly to executive audiences the insights. You like building performant and robust data pipelines. Bonus for pipeline monitoring and alarming experience.
Subject Matter Expert: Not only do you deeply understand the areas you work in, you are gifted at explaining the "so what" to stakeholders. You will build and develop relationships across organizations and define new operational strategies, working with the leadership team on special projects.
Team Player and Creative Problem Solver: Thrive in an ambiguous environment by proactively identifying challenges and working with teams to find creative solutions.
Clear Communicator: You regularly communicate project status, updates, and potential risks to internal and external stakeholders in a clear and approachable way. Folks never have to wonder about your projects' statuses.
While not mandatory, a background in cloud technologies is a plus, as it will help you understand the intricacies of OCI's products and services.
+ 7+ years of relevant experience
+ Deep technical experience in data analytics, data pipelines, and SQL.
+ Ability to independently represent the division up to the SVP level.
+ Demonstrated ability to identify organization-wide issues and work with key stakeholders to drive them to resolution.
+ Experience with large-scale, globally diverse teams in a technical environment.
+ Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
+ Strong technical project reporting skills.
+ Experience managing technical projects in a highly ambiguous environment.
+ Demonstratable business maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.
+ Ability to think and act broadly and strategically.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
