Patient Service Representative

Join the team as a Remote Patient Service Representative and be the first point of contact for patients seeking compassionate, efficient, and professional care.

What You'll Do:

  • Schedule & Register Appointments
  • Coordinate patient visits and provide accurate information on locations, hours, and services.
  • Manage Communications
  • Handle high volumes of calls, emails, and faxes with precision and professionalism.
  • Support New Patients
  • Guide new members through available services and provider options.
  • Track Referrals & Authorizations
  • Keep patients informed about the status of their medical referrals and approvals.
  • Follow Protocols
  • Use phone scripts, decision trees, and scheduling criteria to ensure patients are routed appropriately.
  • Communicate Exam Prep
  • Deliver clear instructions for pre-procedure requirements to patients and referring providers.
  • Send Accurate Provider Communications
  • Ensure timely and complete messaging to physicians and healthcare teams.

What You Bring:

  • 1+ year experience in a patient-focused healthcare setting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred)
  • Medical Assistant or CNA certification (preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
