In the role of the Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to technical projects, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve products, techniques, procedures, and technologies. You will provide engineering support to the largest Honeywell repair and overhaul facility globally, design and develop new ideas and solutions for current products repairs, modifications, and improvements based on in-service issues and market strategy.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer II, you will be responsible for supporting shop manufacturing needs, creating repair documentation, and driving repair process improvements. You will lead and support engineering improvement projects while performing 3D modeling and CAD design. The products you will work on include PSH, APU, and engine components. Additionally, you will define and support Factory of the Future initiatives by utilizing automation, digitization, and AI.

Lead and support engineering improvement projects (focused on TAT, HPU, margins, FPY).
Support manufacturing operations and resolve technical challenges.
Develop and maintain repair documentation and technical procedures.
Drive repair process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
Perform detailed CAD modeling and design for component repairs and modifications.
Collaborate on automation and digital transformation projects.
YOU MUST HAVE:
路 Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
路 1 year engineering experience
