Manufacturing Engineer ME IV

With continual growth comes opportunity and Sargent has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer ME IV to join our Marine Hydraulics team. Responsibilities include ensuring safety is the foundation of daily work through vigilance and accountability, modeling safe behavior at all times, promoting a culture of Continual Improvement by utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive quality improvements, reduce manufacturing cost, minimize waste and improve efficiency, supporting the ME team at all levels & operations with required technical and general support, interpreting and maintaining manufacturing process documentation, evaluating and dispositioning non-conforming product, providing technical data for front end business activities, evaluating supplier issues and providing technical guidance, performing Engineering analysis to determine Root Cause and implement Corrective Actions, identifying new technologies to improve process capability, and increasing process controls, reviewing engineering designs and documentation for manufacturability, defining manufacturing processes and maintaining detailed manufacturing instructions for complex manufacturing product, designing tooling & fixtures for manufacturing and validation of product, coordinating the acquisition and implementation of capital equipment/expenditures, implementing process documentation and providing training for production personnel, actively participating in the engineering change process, and other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
