Our client is seeking a Jira Service Management (JSM) Workflow Engineer to support its Security Organization in building and configuring incident management workflows from scratch. This role will be embedded within the Jira team and will collaborate closely with 2-4 teams across the security org to gather requirements, document them in Confluence, and implement tailored JSM workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with JSM modules, especially incident management, and a strong understanding of security tooling integrations (e.g., SIEM, Splunk).

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Jira Service Management (JSM), including workflow creation and configuration.
- Ability to work with incident management modules or similar templates within JSM.
- Strong understanding of workflow design.
- Experience reading requirements from a Confluence document and turning into workflow.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, build-from-scratch environment. – Experience with workflow design in a security organization.
- Familiarity with security tooling (e.g., SIEM, Splunk) and potential ticketing integrations.
- Prior experience specifically with the incident management module in JSM.
- Exposure to RDP work or broader Jira administration tasks.
- Experience integrating JSM with external security tools to automate ticket creation.
- Background in security operations or working within a security org.
