A support specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the team’s mission by processing new referrals and building the foundational groundwork required for Allsup’s Social Security disability insurance (SSDI) and Veterans Disability Appeal Service claims. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks aimed at building claimants case files, including processing claimant demographic and client-specific data, mailing appropriate correspondence to claimants or the SSA, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met, and conducting follow-up activities with government agencies and claimants via phone.
