Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Bulk Fuel Duties:

Under the supervision of the Supply & Services Manager the assigned Bulk Fuel Personnel shall receive, store and issue fuel through our bulk fuel terminal facility and be able to perform all Retail Fuel duties (see below). Issues bulk fuel to aircraft fuel servicing vehicles (fuel tankers). Prepares and checks receiving documents. Connect lines, grounding wires, and loading or off-loading arms or hoses to tankers. Visually inspects samples of fuel and checks gravity and flashpoint; Gauges tanks for water, temperature and fuel levels; Checks pumping system for correct operating pressure and proper function, notes and reports unusual noise, vibration or heat. Downloads, enters and retrieves data for daily reports. Performs general housekeeping and grounds maintenance at fuel terminal and aircraft POL office. Additional duties may be assigned as needed to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.

Retail Fuel Duties:

Under the supervision of the Supply & Services Manager, the assigned Retail Fuel Personnel operates aircraft fuel servicing vehicles (fuel tankers). Visually inspects samples of fuel and checks gravity and flashpoint; Gauges tanks for water, temperature and fuel levels; Checks pumping system for correct operating pressure and proper function, notes and reports unusual noise, vibration or heat. Performs operator preventive maintenance on aircraft fuel servicing vehicles. Operates fuel servicing vehicle to replenish fuel on aircraft (rotary and fixed wing). May fuel or de-fuel aircraft. May assist aircraft members in servicing liquid carts and holding tanks. Performs general housekeeping and grounds maintenance at fuel terminal and aircraft POL office. Will be trained/certified to perform Bulk Fuel duties (see above). Additional duties may be assigned as needed to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.
