Structural Analysis Engineer II

Responsibilities

Lead and perform static and dynamic stress analysis on various products.

Develop and review reports detailing failure modes and recommend design solutions.

Utilize analysis programs like Abaqus, Optistruct, Hypermesh, and LS-DYNA.

Develop supplemental analysis tools as required.

Manage workload and identify analysis requirements to meet customer needs.

Write analysis, validation, and test reports suitable for government submission.

Essential Skills

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Aerospace, Military, or motor vehicle industries performing static and dynamic stress analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) solvers.

Proficiency with Solidworks for 3D modeling or similar CAD packages like NX, Catia, or Creo.

Experience using mechanical engineering software such as LS-DYNA, NASTRAN, and other structural analysis tools.

This is a Permanent position based out of Guadalupe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00/yr.
