We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer License to join our dynamic design team. This role involves working on a variety of high-profile construction projects including data centers, industrial buildings, and offices. The position requires collaboration with staff, clients, vendors, and external disciplines. Travel to job sites may be necessary for site observations and client meetings. Responsibilities include independently driving projects forward throughout design and construction phases, designing mechanical and plumbing systems for data centers, overseeing the production of all mechanical designs, systems, and drawings, collaborating with a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications, coordinating with external vendors, internal design teams, and manufacturers, and selecting and scheduling major equipment.
Essential skills include mechanical, HVAC, Revit, and MEP systems experience, specifically HVAC and liquid cooling, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, experience with mission-critical projects, design, plumbing, and piping, a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, an active PE License or the ability to obtain it within 6 months, a minimum of 2 years of mission-critical project experience in advanced manufacturing, data centers, semiconductors, or healthcare, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Additional skills and qualifications include preferred data center project experience, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, experience designing HVAC systems, liquid cooling design, plumbing, and piping, experience working independently, managing priorities, and providing mentorship to junior staff, proficiency in Bluebeam, and a LEED AP BD+C certification.
Work environment employees can work 100% remote unless local to Phoenix, AZ or Austin, TX, where a hybrid work schedule is available. This is a permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ. The pay range for this position is $130,000.00 - $165,000.00/yr. This position is anticipated to close on Dec 12, 2025.
