Trihydro Corporation is seeking a senior civil engineer to join its Phoenix, AZ office. The role is within our Mining Services Business Unit and supports clients across many industries by delivering effective, responsive, and safe solutions. You will be responsible for tasks such as performing and helping manage design evaluations/calculations, drafting figures, preparing plan sets, modeling, preparing technical memorandums and reports, preparing project specifications, developing cost estimates, preparing permit applications, and project management and construction oversight. You may also conduct field data collection, perform site inspections and inventories, and perform construction observations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage projects by meeting with clients regularly on and off-site; prepare weekly status reports for tracking scope/schedule/budget; prepare proposals and change orders; coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and service orders; review and approve invoices; manage various subconsultants; conduct internal project forecasting and budget tracking.
• Manage technical design work by delegating, reviewing and approving technical engineering work including design calculations, design evaluations, drawings and specifications. Oversee development of technical design reports, technical memorandums, as-built reports, project completion reports, handover binders, agency submittals, bid documents, etc.
• Manage staff by managing and mentoring various staff professionals including engineers, scientists, technicians and drafters. Perform staff meetings, conduct performance reviews, and recommend staff raises/bonuses.
