Organizational Relationships: Receives direction from the pharmacy administrator. Works cooperatively with pharmacy leadership and staff, and other Mayo Clinic staff. Delegates/assigns duties within pharmacy team and precepts pharmacy experiential learners (e.g. students, interns, technician students, residents) as applicable. Serves as an education resource for staff.
Position Overview (Major Functions and Non-Essential Functions): Provides medication management services in coordination with other health care professionals to deliver safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medication therapy to patients. Responsibilities may include assessment of medication therapy regimens, medication therapy management, medication order verification/entry, medication distribution, medication therapy monitoring, and consultation, documentation of medication therapy plans, and medication use education and pharmaceutical care services.
Participates in collaborative practice and/or protocol-driven practice as appropriate. Additionally, pharmacists are active members in quality improvement, research activities, and education as described in job specific competencies.

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. $144,000 - $174,000 annually
