Primary Care Specialist Coordinator

Fully remote but must live in Arizona. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am to 6:30pm (CST Time) - must be available for any 8-hour shift in between. (40 hours/week)

This role focuses on primary care physicians referring their patients to specialists. To be successful in this role, a new hire would be focusing on verifying benefits and scheduling patients with specialist doctors. In this role, you will be working in a call center environment, handling high-volume inbound calls.

Additional skills and qualifications:

  • Must have 2+ years healthcare experience & experience handling high volume inbound calls
  • Medical terminology, insurance verification, insurance benefit knowledge, referral processing and authorization experience required
  • Must possess the ability to work independently with strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills to support the management of multiple priorities with significant attention to detail for project completion
  • Medical assistant experience is a plus but not required
  • Must live within 50 mile radius from Phoenix, AZ. If you are located outside of the radius sadly we cannot move forward

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience level: Intermediate level

This is a contract to hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
