Outside Sales Representative

The Outside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in building customer relationships by visiting customer locations to promote the organization. The primary focus is on gaining additional equipment and service business by identifying customer needs, communicating effectively, and delivering tailored solutions. Open to candidates without sales experience who have the right attitude and competitive spirit!

Responsibilities:

• Provide value to customers and cultivate positive relationships by selling equipment and parts/service solutions that meet specific needs.
• Support all product lines carried by the organization.
• Identify opportunities to grow branch sales through increased business with existing customers, new customers, and owners of competitive equipment.
• Follow up promptly with customers and deliver sound advice to support their organization.
• Complete call reports after visits and profile customer's fleet of equipment using the CRM application.
• Communicate customer concerns to the appropriate department manager at the branch as needed.
• Assist in the annual inventory count of the warehouse.

Essential Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts.
• Self-reliance and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Sales, customer service, and account management skills.
• Experience with outbound, cold, and warm calls.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of database software and online parts books.
• Proficiency in standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• 1 to 3 years of sales experience.
• Basic knowledge of crusher equipment and dealership operations.

Work Environment:

This position primarily works out of the company truck and involves traveling to customer locations, including sand and gravel pits, which may have dust, dirt, and loud noise. Occasionally, work may be performed in the office, warehouse, or customers' offices. The role includes delivering parts to customers and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training and growth opportunities are provided, with minimal national travel required.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Great benefits, get a company vehicle, credit card, car wash.
