Responsibilities + Perform engineering design, development, analysis, and/or test activities to support assigned projects. + Develop test programs to evaluate system elements such as materials and structural components. + Manage test activities and test article fabrication, including documentation of results. + Communicate project status, analysis, and test results through written reports or presentations to internal and external customers.
Essential Skills + Proficiency in mechanical design and CAD software, specifically Siemens NX. + Strong knowledge and experience in GD&T principles and application. + Experience in the aerospace, missile, launch vehicle, booster, or defense industry. + A degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related engineering experience, or a Masters with 4 years of related experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications + Upper-level coursework in mechanical design, heat transfer, and vibrations. + Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance. + Preferred experience with Siemens NX 1946 and Teamcenter. + ASME Y14.5-2009 certification in GD&T. + Experience working with DoD programs and within the launch vehicle industry.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gilbert, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.
