Procurement Managed Services Manager

At PwC, our people in operations consulting specialize in providing consulting services on optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness. These individuals analyze client needs, develop operational strategies, and offer guidance and support to help clients streamline processes, improve productivity, and drive business performance. In the procurement managed services team, you will support the delivery of project objectives against KPIs and support client leadership through strategy and execution of new opportunities. As a Manager, you will supervise, develop, and coach teams, manage client service accounts, and drive assigned client engagement workstreams by independently solving and analyzing complex problems to develop top-quality deliverables. You will leverage your broad knowledge in procurement leading practices, category strategies, and supplier management to deliver significant business results and support client transformations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assure delivery of project objectives against KPIs
  • Support client leadership through strategy and execution of new opportunities
  • Oversee sourcing and negotiating for various spend categories
  • Supervise and mentor teams to deliver premium-quality results
  • Manage client service accounts and engagement workstreams
  • Apply knowledge in procurement leading practices and supplier management
  • Drive significant business results through strategic initiatives
  • Foster team development and coaching

What You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Economics, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management
  • 5 years of experience

What Sets You Apart:

  • Master of Business Administration preferred
  • Demonstrating the ability to provide candid, meaningful feedback in a timely manner, and keeping leadership informed of progress and issues
  • Assisting the department in developing and monitoring target category strategies
  • Supporting Procurement project delivery against KPIs and other major initiatives
  • Providing training and development support to PwC staff on Procurement leading practices
  • Managing issues and escalations through collaborative problem solving and solutioning with client and PwC leadership team
  • Demonstrating relationship management of Key client executives (including governance, cadence, and strategic planning)
  • Encouraging everyone to have a voice and invite perspectives from everyone, including quieter members of the team
  • Dealing effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations

For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
