Engineering Technician โ Integration & Test
A leading aerospace organization is seeking an Engineering Technician โ Integration & Test to support mechanical and electromechanical assembly, spacecraft integration, testing, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. This is a hands-on, onsite role supporting the build and test of advanced space systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly, wire harnessing, and soldering
- Apply epoxy bonding and polymeric materials for spaceflight hardware
- Utilize precision torque techniques for fastening
- Maintain work areas compliant with ESD, FOD, and 5S standards
- Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on electronic equipment
- Document and support resolution of discrepancies
- Use tools such as Solumina MES, TipQA, Windchill, and CREO View
- Lead test configuration setups
- Set up, troubleshoot, and repair Electronic Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), including racks and desktop systems
- Assist with cable design and test configuration development
- Execute test scripts in Maestro and AstroRT environments
- Verify and document completion of testing events
- Support hazardous or critical operations as required
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or technical training equivalent plus 4โ6 years of related mechanical or manufacturing technician experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Hands-on experience with aerospace hardware, harness builds, and soldering
- Understanding of AC/DC electrical measurements, circuitry, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of clean room protocols and spacecraft handling
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks (sanding, scrubbing, etc.)
- Availability to work 2nd, 3rd, weekend, and overtime shifts
- Ability to wear and work in an N95 or higher respirator
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using standard test equipment: oscilloscopes, network analyzers, waveform generators, digitizers, signal analyzers
- Knowledge of design components: filters, couplers, splitters, amplifiers, etc.
- Familiarity with cryogenic test systems including dilution refrigeration, 4K cryocoolers, ADR, and liquid helium immersion

This is a Contract position based out of Gilbert, AZ.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
