Join our Electrical Installation team within the Rigid Frame Trucks organization and become a driving force behind the design and development of electrical integration for Large Mining Trucks. As an Engineering Project Team Leader, you will lead and oversee multiple electrical installation engineering projects focused on large mining trucks and related mining equipment. Your responsibilities will span coordinating cross-functional activities involving product development, value chain optimization, manufacturing processes, commercial, and product support. You will be accountable for managing project timelines, budgets, product quality, and ensuring the successful integration of electrical solutions that address unique challenges within the mining industry.

+ Lead the team to achieve all New Product Introduction (NPI) deliverables including cost, velocity, reliability, and quality targets.
+ Lead the team in Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) activities by addressing feedback from Product Support and Manufacturing.
+ Drive collaboration with product development groups, value chain, manufacturing, commercial, and product support.
+ Direct project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.
+ Provide leadership for design reviews and conformance to design guidelines and best practices.
+ Oversee project progress, communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas.
+ Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability and lifecycle efficiency.
+ Develop project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
+ Off Highway truck or mining industry application knowledge.
+ Extensive experience in Electrical installation product design and development.
+ Experience directing project staffing; motivating and developing team members in a high paced environment.
+ Electrical SDP experience and ability to influence through expertise.
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum.
+ Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
+ Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
+ Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to use these to deepen own expertise and impact or challenge decisions within and outside own organization.
+ Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

$126,000.00 - $189,000.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
