We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role involves the development and support of large mining trucks, focusing on cable harness design, electrical systems integration, and light fabrication. It is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design efforts focused on cable harness systems, which will constitute approximately 90% of your workload.
• Support light fabrication design for truck components, making up about 10% of your workload.
• Create and modify designs using Creo, adhering to our engineering standards.
• Upload and manage design data within Teamcenter.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and durability requirements.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in electrical engineering with a focus on cable harness design.
• Experience with Creo for detailed digital modeling and engineering simulations.
• Familiarity with system architecture and schematic design.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design and cable harness systems.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in light fabrication design.
• Experience with Teamcenter for design data management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with Vismockup, PRWB, and Electrical Harness Routing.
• Previous experience at well-known engineering firms is a plus.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract position based out of Tucson, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
