Responsibilities

Job Summary: Responsible for the regular delivery, distribution, pick-up, loading, unloading, sorting, transferring, and storage of medical equipment, furniture, and other assets. Supports communication and coordination aligned with service excellence requirements. Assists with other Logistics and Fleet Management functions as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Operates all required vehicles in performance of delivery and pick-up of medical equipment and other assets.
  • Develops and maintains regular delivery and pick-up routes.
  • Performs regular inspections of vehicles and equipment, notifying supervisor whenever appropriate.
  • Performs general cleaning and minor equipment/vehicle maintenance as required.
  • Assists with the Preventative Maintenance of the Supply Chain equipment, trucks, including the forklifts and all pallet jacks.
  • Unloads, sorts, and stores equipment, supplies, and materials properly as directed.
  • Organizes the racks, receives deliveries from vendors at the dock in Logistics.
  • Provides support of shipping and receiving supply chain department.
  • Completes the required documentation for shipping and receiving.

Education

High School Diploma or GED - Required.

Licenses and Certifications

Driver License Must have a clean driving record. Must: Be at least 21 years of age Provide a current and valid Arizona driver's license Provide a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) from the Department of Motor Vehicles for a 3 year period that has been approved in advance by an insurance carrier - Required Provide current certificate of completion of the National Safety Council's Defensive Driving Course-4 (DDC-4) or successfully - Preferred.
