Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in a dynamic call center environment. The role involves handling inbound calls and follow-up communications, addressing inquiries about prior authorizations, general questions, and some confidential information. This position requires exceptional customer service skills and attention to detail while entering information accurately. Performance is measured on quality, with call volumes ranging from 50-100 calls per day depending on complexity. The role requires the use of multiple systems and programs to track information and update customer communications.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls and follow-up communications in a call center environment.
  • Address inquiries regarding prior authorizations, general questions, and confidential information.
  • Provide excellent customer service with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Accurately enter and manage information using multiple systems and programs.
  • Maintain quality standards with call volumes ranging from 50-100 calls per day.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of recent call center experience with high-volume calls.
  • Ability to type at least 30 words per minute.
  • Proficiency in computer knowledge and skills.
  • Strong customer service and support abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience within the healthcare or medical sector is advantageous.
  • Minimum 1-year tenure in previous jobs is preferred.
  • Ability to achieve at least 75% on Call Center - Telephone Skills assessment.
  • Successful completion of a 90% average on training tests.

Work Environment

This position offers significant growth opportunities, with many contractors transitioning to permanent roles and advancing to team leads, supervisors, and trainers. The work schedule requires availability 7 days a week from 5 AM to 10 PM, with a set schedule assigned within those hours. Training involves completing four tests with a 90% average requirement. Be aware of mandatory overtime in January and February. Shift bids are conducted based on performance and test scores at the end of training.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
