Join our team as a concrete carpenter, where you will be an essential part of our self-perform concrete team focused on commercial and industrial projects. You will be engaged in a variety of tasks including pouring concrete and form setting, utilizing MEVA concrete forms, as well as dismantling scaffolding and site clean-up.
• Pour concrete and set forms for MEVA concrete systems.
• Dismantle scaffolding and ensure site cleanliness.
• Load and unload equipment effectively.
• Move and set shovel mortar and grout between wheelbarrows.
• Regularly lift materials weighing over 50 pounds.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a concrete carpenter.
• Proficiency with concrete, formwork, and concrete slabs.
• Experience with MEVA concrete forms and gang form concrete.
• Skilled in carpentry, concrete finishing, and concrete form setting.
• Previous experience with concrete is preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred.
You will be part of a large general contractor with a focus on commercial and industrial projects, providing you the chance to work on battery storage facilities, advanced manufacturing sites, and high-rise buildings. The company offers an internal apprenticeship program designed to build and train their internal team, with opportunities for growth across four levels in each trade, each accompanied by pay increases. This position offers a chance to advance from Level II to Level IV, with competitive pay ranges.
The job site is located in North Phoenix, specifically at 7th St & Happy Valley Rd. The work schedule starts at 6:30 am from Monday to Saturday, consisting of five 10-hour shifts and an additional 8-hour shift on Saturday, totaling 58 hours per week. Flexibility to travel around the valley is required as these are long-term opportunities and may involve commuting to new job sites as projects are secured.
This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
The pay range for this position is $30.50 - $34.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
