Under direct supervision, performs work of moderate difficulty in the regulatory program enforcing laws and ordinances concerning Animal Services and rabies control; performs related work as assigned. These positions require 100% in-person work.

Typical duties include driving; working with and around other public officials, citizens, staff, and animals (domestic and wildlife); dealing with interruptions; writing, telephones, etc. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions, hazards, and others, and exposure to adverse atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, dust, mist, gases, and others. Must be able to lift a minimum of 60lbs. Must be able to work some holidays, be on a rotating shift, and respond to emergency after-hours calls.
