Radar Signal Processing System Engineer
The Systems Engineering and Test Center (SETC) organization is currently hiring a Radar Signal Processing System Engineer to join our Tucson, AZ location. SETC is an exciting and challenging environment where you will have the opportunity to design, develop and test to shape innovative solutions for our customers. Join our organization and collaborate in the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of radar algorithms and models. Experience the Systems V engineering life cycle while interfacing with a variety of engineering disciplines, subject matter experts, chief engineers, chief technologists, the customer, and so many more to ensure we design, integrate, test and strengthen our systems to work the first time and every time for our warfighters! In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on an effectors project pertinent to the systems lifecycle.
This role is 100% on-site at our Tucson, AZ campus.
What You Will Do:
- Act as an entry-level professional with theoretical knowledge of radar signal processing to support development, execution, and completion of difficult and potentially complex program objectives.
- Participate in engineering lab environments to test, verify, and validate radar models and signal processing algorithm performance in accordance with requirements.
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
- Integrate algorithms into tactical system hardware and software, evaluating their functionality and impact.
- Conduct trade studies and present results to stakeholders.
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality through all development phases from program start-up to live-fire testing.
- Use and modify simulations for the design, development, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance assessment of radar algorithms and models.
- Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Master's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
- In undergraduate coursework, must have completed or currently be taking at least one class in Signal Processing / Image Processing
- Proficiency in the C++ programming language or object-oriented software design.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.

- The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD.
