Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer Opportunities

A local company has immediate opportunities available for Mechanical/Aerospace Engineers. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide structure engineering support for interior and exterior installations on business, commercial, and military aviation aircraft
2. Generate and assemble drawings and documents to support modification and installation of structural and system components on aircraft
3. Design and coordinate material and structural repairs and assist with planning and selection of equipment installation locations
4. Coordinate and monitor structural and mechanical aspects of project schedule with project managers
5. Develop cabin interior, systems, and structural modification or installation work instructions, procedures, and recommendations
6. Generate 3-D mock-ups of components and installations to test-fit prior to manufacturing
7. Assist in estimating, quoting, and planning in support of aircraft modifications and act as a liaison between engineering and the aircraft integration and installation teams
8. Assist aircraft integration teams with structural planning and fit checks
9. Help maintain company owned Supplemental Type Certificate (s) and approved designs
10. Interface with and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and integration teams
11. Perform other duties as assigned
