Systems Engineer

Location: Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA

We are hiring for a Systems Engineer with the technical depth and systems-thinking mindset to drive complex solutions from concept through deployment. This role requires an engineer who can translate customer and product requirements into fully integrated system architectures—balancing performance, security, schedule, and cost while ensuring every component aligns with mission and operational constraints.

Key Responsibilities

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:

  • Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Preparing documentation such as program-level, user-level, and security documentation.
  • Performing as an Agile Scrum Master.
  • Translating detailed design into computer software.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) and MS Azure cloud technologies.
  • Jenkins, Github, Docker, and orchestration tools such as Ansible, CloudFormation, or Terraform.

Highly Desired Qualifications

Other skills and demonstrated experiences that are highly desired but not mandatory to perform the work, include:

  • Linux administration and scripting languages including Bash and Python.
  • Analyzing customer requirements and providing technical expertise on cloud cluster computing techniques and technologies.
  • Designing software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation.
  • Working with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Designing and customizing software for client use in a cloud environment with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
