Cyber Security Project Engineer
We are seeking a Cyber Security Project Engineer with deep expertise in developing, implementing, and optimizing advanced cyber capabilities in support of sensitive mission operations.
Location: Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing cybersecurity systems and tools to support forensic imaging of data sources.
- Implementing cybersecurity systems and tools to support media analysis of data sources.
- Developing and customizing tools to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in systems and applications.
- Modifying technical research frameworks to optimize data collection from diverse sources.
- Developing tools for cyber analysis and exploitation.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and vulnerabilities. Demonstrated experience with data engineering and effective communication across platforms and disparate levels of technical knowledge.
- Modifying secure communication information systems and processing tools to enhance collaboration across the Customer's branches and departments.
- Conducting technical research and analysis on various systems and applications for data collection.
- Providing root cause cyber analysis on communication platforms
- Strong understanding of computer network security, networking principles and exploitation techniques
- Reviewing data collections for veracity of information.
