We are now accepting applications for Community Support Worker based out of the Kelowna Office. The successful applicants will provide outreach and community support to adults with diversabilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). These positions involve working independently in the individuals or family's home, and in the community.
This is a permanent Full-Time position that can average 40 hours per week. Applicants should be prepared to work flexible hours, which are mostly days, with some evenings and on rare occasions, weekends. If you enjoy working independently, having input in determining your own schedule and have a passion to help others, this is an ideal position for you.
Community Support Workers must be able to apply a range of treatment modalities, which will vary based on the specific needs, and level/intensity of the service required. The specific responsibilities of the position include:

$25.90 - $30.00 per hour based on relevant experience and education. Upon successful completion of a probationary period, full-time employees (minimum 20-hrs per week) are eligible for a full benefit package (including dental plan, vision coverage, life insurance, extended medical coverage, long-term disability plan, and RRSP or TFSA contributions). New full-time employees are eligible for 3 weeks paid vacation to start, as well as paid sick days as described in agency policy.
