The Strategic Analytics organization at Arch is a growing team driving automation, data, and AI transformation across the company. Our Implementation Engineering team serves as the bridge between innovation and execution — operationalizing AI models, automation workflows, and data-driven processes that transform how underwriting and claims teams operate.
As a Manager of Implementation Engineering, you will lead a team of offshore developers responsible for delivering automation and AI implementation projects across Arch's business units. You'll work closely with the Automation & AI leadership team, internal IT, and business partners to operationalize AI models, build microservice-based solutions, and integrate analytics workflows into production environments. You will be accountable for technical delivery, people management, and process governance — ensuring projects are developed to enterprise standards, follow CI/CD best practices, and deliver measurable business impact. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical manager who thrives in an environment that blends architecture, delivery oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring daily progress, alignment, and delivery quality. Ensure consistency in coding standards, documentation, observability, and CI/CD pipelines across all automation projects. Oversee end-to-end delivery of implementation projects — from development to testing, deployment, and production handoff. Collaborate with Strategic Analytics leadership and business units to translate AI/automation concepts into executable technical designs. Contribute and promote evolving best standards and practices.
3+ years of experience in software engineering, automation, or data integration, with at least 1+ year in a management or lead role. Proven experience working with offshore development teams and managing distributed delivery models. Strong technical foundation in Python, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and APIs/microservices.
Exposure to MLOps frameworks and model serving. Strong understanding of business process automation and intelligent document processing. Exceptional collaboration and relationship building skills. Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and data orchestration frameworks is a plus. Strong data manipulation skills for analytics. Resilient problem solving and critical thinking skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience in P&C insurance, analytics, or automation delivery preferred.
