Preplanning And Methods Engineer

The preplanning and methods engineer is responsible for implementing engineering activities, overseeing projects and optimizing production methods.

Your role:

• Coordinating the implementation of engineering activities
• Monitoring project progress, reporting according to deadlines and managing improvements and innovations
• Providing project supervision (planning, action plans) and quality according to customer specifications
• Optimizing production methods
• Defining factory layouts and process flows
• Defining and calculating machine capacities during preparation and optimizing operator work to increase efficiency and quality of production processes
• Communicating and collaborating with service centers and teams to ensure alignment between product changes and the production process
• Coordinating activities related to MCR MCIP/IMCIP while adhering to the principles of continuous improvement and Six Sigma methodology
• Creating and maintaining address systems

Your background:

• Preferred - University degree in a technical field
• 2 years of work experience in the automotive industry
• Advanced knowledge of English language
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
• Knowledge of EOS, MEC, Problem Solving, PFMEA, Flow Chart Diagrams, WSD Validations
• Knowledge of equipment capacity calculations, LP databases, GCSD catalogs
• Experience in creating work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Preferred experience in process optimization and introduction of new products (NPI/NPP)
