Role Summary The Engineering Team Manager will lead the Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Smartphone Projection software development team, responsible for end-to-end design, integration, and delivery of automotive connectivity features within Android-based infotainment platforms built on Qualcomm host processors (SA8255, SA8155, SA8295). The role requires a strong blend of connectivity stack expertise, Android framework understanding, and program delivery leadership, ensuring reliable and certified wireless communication features for global OEM infotainment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Required Skills & Experience
• B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, or Embedded Systems Engineering.
• 10–14 years of experience in automotive infotainment or mobile connectivity software, with at least 3+ years in a managerial/lead role.
• Strong experience in Android-based connectivity subsystems (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Projection).
• Expertise in Bluetooth Stack Architecture (AOSP / Bluedroid / Fluoride), HAL, and upper-layer profiles.
• Hands-on experience in Wi-Fi frameworks, wpa_supplicant, hostapd, and driver integration.
• Deep understanding of Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Google Automotive Assistant (AAA) integration and certification processes.
• Experience with Qualcomm connectivity solutions (CNSS / QCA9377 / QCA6574 / WCNSS) and related firmware interfaces.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Java, with experience debugging across Android Framework and HAL layers.
• Familiar with logcat, QXDM, Wireshark, Bluetooth sniffer tools, adb, and shell utilities for debugging and validation.
• Exposure to Android 11–14 or Android Automotive OS based platforms.
• Experience in coexistence debugging and performance optimization for concurrent BT/Wi-Fi operations.
• Working knowledge of CarPlay / Android Auto certification test plans and tools (CTS, GTS, IOP validation).
