Account Manager

We are seeking three highly skilled and motivated Account Managers to join our teams in France, Germany and UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, specifically with cordset/charging wiring business products. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales responsibility for our customers in the product area "Electrical Distribution Systems/charging wires"
  • Conducting price and cost calculations for proposals and contracts
  • Liaison with Aptiv internal teams to understand and optimize costs for changes
  • Development of Business Strategies for your OEM aligned with Aptiv goals on growth targets
  • Tracking and reporting costs daily, and preparing key figures "KPI"
  • Maintaining customer database in the B2B customer portal
  • Implementing and supporting change management process in internal tools
  • Supporting in the acquisition of new projects and tracking data for new/running business on time
  • Engaging in daily communication with customers
  • Collaborating and leading internal departments including Finance, Logistic, and Program Management to ensure seamless operations
  • Transfer the "Voice of Customer" into the organization of Aptiv
  • Tracking of Price lists vs Customer POs
  • Claim management for specific project

Key Requirements:

  • High School technical or economical education, University degree as an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on wiring harnesses
  • Very good communication skills, negotiation skills, high level of personal responsibility as well as a team-oriented and flexible way of working
  • Business fluent in German or French and English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); MS Teams
