The Manager, Global Events Marketing, Aptar Pharma will develop and execute a comprehensive global Trade Show and Conferences Strategy to elevate the Aptar Pharma brand, support thought leadership, and drive sales leads into the commercial pipeline. This role is pivotal in enhancing our global presence and achieving our business objectives.
Reporting to the Director Operationnal Marketing, your main responsibilities will be:
- Lead and inspire a team of 1-2 Event specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Develop and implement a global Trade Show and Conferences strategy aligned with Aptar Pharma's business goals.
- Oversee the planning and execution of 4-5 global events and 8-10 EMEA events annually, including CPhI Worldwide, Pharmapack, Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) Conference, PDA-PFS, and the biennial RDD Europe Conference, for which Aptar Pharma is a co-organizer of the conference.
- Manage all aspects of event planning, including sponsorship negotiations, booth design, graphics & key messaging, on-site activation, asset creation, logistics, and sales briefings.
- Provide event support and messaging governance for 15-20 regional events total per year to the 4 Regional Marketing functions in Aptar Pharma (North America (NAM), Latin America (LATAM), Southeast Asia (SEA) and Northeast Asia (NEA) regions.)
- Ensure consistent use of Aptar Pharma branding across all events and support regional marketing teams in maintaining brand standards.
- Work closely with Business Development Managers, Sales, and other key stakeholders to align event strategies with business objectives.
- Close collaboration with Operational Marketing members (Business Marketing, Digital Marketing, External Comms) to deliver event plans.
- Develop and manage the Trade Show and Conferences budget, ensuring cost-effective execution of events.
- Oversee relationships with external suppliers, including agencies and vendors, to ensure high-quality event delivery.
- Identify and qualify new event opportunities that align with Aptar Pharma's strategic goals.
- Drive innovation across Aptar Pharma Events to stay best-in-class and leverage the latest technologies, providing excellent customer experience at events and facilitating lead collection.
Our future colleague:
- Business degree or comparable education
- 10 years in marketing and communications within the pharma/medical device market or other B2B industries, with a strong focus on events strategy and execution.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
- Proficiency in budget management.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving.
- IT skills (MS Office, Photoshop a plus).
- Experience with graphic design development a plus.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
- Experience in managing teams is a plus.
Location: Based in Rueil-Malmaison, France with the possibility for remote working as per Aptar's remote working policy. Occasional travel required, primarily within EMEA, to oversee event execution (estimated 5-6 trips per year).
