Inside Sales Representative
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Inside Sales Representative for a company based in North Houston, TX. This electronics company operates in the casino gaming industry. We have a sales team consisting of inside sales reps with sales support staff to assist, outside sales reps and customer service reps. We sell into every gaming state and have 900 active customers. Ownership is actively involved in all areas of the company.
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $26.00 BOE
Annual bonus; SPIFs available
Schedule and Hours:
Monday – Friday
8:00am – 5:00pm
Inside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities
- Grow business with existing customer base by calling to understand need, making proposals, aggressively follow up and close orders, and by seeking out large sales opportunities and working with sales management to close.
- Utilize the CRM to organize your customer base, schedule calls and tasks, understand customer stats and buying behavior, send estimates and process orders.
- Qualify and grow your customers’ needs by understanding our product base, determining product fit, promoting related products and representing our full offerings.
- Record all communication in the CRM.
- Keep management informed by submitting regular activity and sales reports.
- Participate in regular training sessions and sales support meetings.
- Help resolves customer complaints by working with your sales and customer service team to investigate problems and develop solutions.
- Help Sales & Marketing expand our product offering by bringing customer needs for product we do not have.
- Maintain a cheerful, professional attitude in calls and emails.
Inside Sales Representative Qualifications and Requirements
- 2+ years using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams and CRM Systems
- 2+ years inside sales experience
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and good use of English language
- Ability to succeed working with high customer count and high call volume
- Must have the ability to maintain positive and professional attitude under sometimes stressful conditions
- Ability to work independently but with full support from sales, marketing and product management to train, guide and plan your sales growth
- Ability to use the CRM, sales reports and marketing data to prioritize your time, your customer base and your sales effort
- Ability to manage call schedules for large number of customers, to quickly understand best time and person to call, then guide your sales call towards meeting sales goals
- Enthusiastic and positive with excellent multitasking skills
