Software Engineer Senior (Top Secret)

Applied Research Solutions is seeking Software Engineer Senior candidates located at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts.

The selected candidate will perform work that applies a broad theoretical and practical knowledge of software engineering to include but not be limited to reviewing, preparing, and analyzing all types of documentation, planning, requirements, design, V&V, support, and test--to include source code, configuration files, and engineering resolution support. Responsibilities may also include but are not be limited to:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insightful analytics.
• Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate to enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage and customize SharePoint sites to support collaboration and document management.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility across reporting and automation tools.
• Provide training and support to users on Microsoft tools and solutions.
• Stay updated on the latest Microsoft technologies to continuously improve division-wide tools.
• Will perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Experience in data visualization, automation, and workflow optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional Microsoft 365 tools such as Excel, Teams, and Power Apps.
• Knowledge of SQL, DAX, or other data-related languages.
• Previous experience in reporting, business intelligence, or process automation.

Additional Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:

• Must be a US citizen
• Active TS/SCI Clearance
• Advanced degree (MA/MS) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD,
• or a BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD,
• or 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, of which 8 years must be in the DoD.
