Serves as a senior technical expert in TCAD device and process simulation, providing specialized depth in semiconductor device physics and modeling. Works independently and solves complex simulation-driven problems, taking a broad perspective to create innovative modeling solutions that support technology development. Lead focused technical workstreams and mentor junior engineers.

Demonstrates strong expertise in semiconductor device physics, TCAD device/process simulation, and simulation-driven technology development. Skilled in analyzing complex physical phenomena and translating them into accurate predictive models.
Business expertise applies TCAD and device-physics knowledge to interpret internal technology challenges and recommend modeling-based best practices that improve products, processes, or design decisions.
Leadership may lead small technical teams or focused modeling initiatives. Guides others in simulation approaches, model development, and methodological improvement.
Problem solving leads others to solve complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
Impact directly impacts internal R&D, simulation accuracy, device-technology insights, and key project outcomes. Work aligns with functional policies and contributes to technology development objectives.
Interpersonal skills communicate complex modeling and device-physics concepts clearly and persuasively. Able to negotiate technical approaches and drive alignment across teams.
Education: Master's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (PhD preferred).
Technical skills include:
Strong background in semiconductor device physics and technology development.
Hands-on experience with TCAD device and process modeling (Sentaurus or equivalent).
Solid experience with multiphysics simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL).
Deep knowledge of semiconductor technologies development and reliability such as GAA/Forksheet/FinFET logic, DRAM, 3D NAND and emerging NVM, and wide bandgap SiC/GaN power devices.
Strong data analysis and scripting capabilities (Python, MATLAB).
Experience: 7 - 10 years.
