Senior Mechanical Engineer
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll leverage your strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to process and resolve mechanical problems, design and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes, and enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, and specifications. You will oversee manufacturing and installation processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations-- and you'll coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment for design projects, identifying sources of critical parts and subsystems to resolve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision
- Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering test reports with limited supervision
- Develop, design, or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope
- Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision
- Technically lead and/or execute engineering projects, including development of key suppliers. Generate mechanical product specifications.
- May be responsible for the design, development and implementation of custom mechanical tooling, fixturing, and associated processes to enable the handling, assembly and/or disassembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle. Establishes standards across all operational processes
- Specify and review engineering documentation
- Implements concepts for variety of complex product issues and mechanical solutions
Job Description:
Responsible for technical evaluation of gas distribution components and systems. Determine test methods based on component requirements.
- Plan and execute reliability studies aimed at component/system qualification.
- Perform testing of components to determine performance. Record and analyze results and compile findings into written reports. Define, coordinate, perform, and document engineering test reports.
- Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of difficult mechanical problems.
- Develop test stands to support test methods including automated operation and data collection.
- Development, design, or modify mechanical engineering layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope under the guidance
- Implements concepts for variety of product issues and mechanical solutions.
- Establishes standards across all operational processes
- Components testing using LabVIEW/related software
- Work in close coordination with colleagues in North America and Singapore.
Education:
- B. Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with relevant industry work experience
