As a Process Support Engineer (PSE), you'll play a key role in guiding products through the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to final qualification. As a PSE, you will optimize product recipes to ensure peak performance tailored to our customer's needs. You will collaborate with our globally recognized R&D teams and work directly with customers in their fabrication facilities to create cutting-edge solutions. Process Support Engineers work across technologies such as: Chemical Vapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as liaison between the customer and the Business Unit for assigned projects, ensuring clear understanding of customer issues and delivery of applicable solutions.
- Providing highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
- Working closely with customer to optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
- Checking and approving operational quality of system equipment. Instructing customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
- Utilizing data extracted from our equipment and process results to adjust and improve performance. Utilizing statistical data to analyze and monitor process trends.
- Applying your growing knowledge of best practices to offer a new perspective using existing solutions.
- Collaborating with cross functional stakeholders like R&D, field service, manufacturing, etc.
Requirements include:
- PhD/ Master/ Bachelor in Engineering studies
- Candidates with process-related experiences in semiconductor industry will be considered for higher position
- Prior work experiences in a technical support or field service role will be an added advantage
- Resourceful and proactive mindset. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients
- Candidates must agree to work in Singapore for the first 3 years before relocating back to India
